World premiere of Kia PV5 Chassis Cab at Solutrans 2025

Kia’s first chassis cab, part of the growing PV5 electric van portfolio, will make its world premiere next week at Solutrans 2025.

The PV5 Chassis Cab will debut at Solutrans 2025

The PV5 Chassis Cab will debut during the Kia press conference hosted by Marc Hedrich, president and CEO of Kia Europe, and Sjoerd Knipping, chief operating officer, at 11.30 AM on Monday 18 November.

The chassis cab will join the existing PV5 Cargo and Crew versions, alongside the passenger MPV model and upcoming wheelchair-accessible versions, showcasing Kia’s new solutions tailored to business and fleet customers across Europe.

It utilises the front section of the PV5 Cargo, offers a payload up to 995kg and has been developed to support a diverse range of conversion configurations, from tippers and dropsides to freezer box models.

Visitors to Solutrans 2025, taking place at Eurexpo Lyon from 18-22 November, will also discover the PV5 Crew and PV5 Cargo Long (L2H1) models.

This will include the exact PV5 Cargo Long unit that set the Guinness World Record after racking up 693.38km (430.84 miles) on a single charge while carrying its maximum payload, which will make its first public appearance.

Kia will also present the new Kia Business Solutions Ecosystem, a professional suite of connectivity and charging services designed to simplify fleet management and accelerate electrification for business customers. Key solutions include the Kia Business Portal, Kia’s Fleet Management System (FMS), Business Mode in the Kia App, and Kia Charge for Business.

Marc Hedrich, president and CEO of Kia Europe, said: “Our PBV strategy represents the next step in Kia’s transformation into a leading mobility solutions provider.

“At Solutrans 2025, we are proud to showcase how our versatile PBV line-up and the Kia Business Solutions Ecosystem enables customers to do business like never before.”
