Zenith, the independent leasing, fleet management and vehicle outsourcing company, has unveiled a fully digital used electric vehicle (EV) salary sacrifice scheme, designed to make electric motoring more affordable and accessible for drivers across the UK.
The new scheme allows employees to lease a high-quality pre-owned EV through salary sacrifice, offering a cost-effective entry point into electric driving. Contracts start from just 12 months, providing a low-risk way for drivers to experience EV ownership without a long-term commitment.
Each vehicle included in the scheme is AA Safety Inspected, comes with a full-service history, a manufacturer’s battery warranty, and a comprehensive maintenance package. Every car is refurbished to Zenith’s exacting standards and supported by a seven-day return period – a first for the industry – giving drivers additional confidence in their purchase.
Zenith has also developed a fully digital stock management system, enabling customers to browse and order vehicles in real time. With all cars available immediately, delivery can take place in under 14 days.
Andy Wolff, Commercial Director of Zenith’s Corporate division, said:

“Zenith launched the very first car salary sacrifice scheme back in 1999, so this new proposition is the next natural step in providing affordable access to electric vehicles as we continue to drive towards net zero.
“We know from our market research that 81% of drivers would take a used salary sacrifice car. By combining affordability, accessibility, and quality, we’re removing the barriers that have traditionally held back EV adoption, while helping establish a healthy used market and mitigating the impact of falling residual values, which is vital to the overall EV ecosystem.”
